Remembrance Day – November 11, 2017

The Band participated in several Remembrance Day ceremonies throughout the community in 2017. Kenora Scottish Pipe-Major accompanied by both Liam and Macy Forster played for the school service at St. Louis School in Keewatin on Friday morning.

The band consisting of Pipe Sergeant Cecil Burns, Bob Stewart, Laura Farrell, Terri Forster, Amanda Todoschuk, Theo Kunz, Lori Hoppe and Cathy Giroux played at King George School and Beaver Brae Secondary Schools on Friday morning.

Services held on Saturday morning were: the Kenora Legion service where Bob Stewart played and the Keewatin Legion Community service held at St. Louis School in Keewatin where Cecil Burns played.
