As in the past few years, the band’s first performance of the day was at King George VI School for their Remembrance Day assembly at 9:00 a.m. For this ceremony, Wes Sheppard came down from Winnipeg to help tune the band and to fill out the ranks of our pipe section.

Following the King George service, Pipe-Major Cecil Burns played for the ceremonies at Beaver Brae Secondary School at 10:30 a.m. The gymnasium was packed with students for the solemn ceremony.
