Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA) Provincial Championship – Kenora Recreation Centre, Kenora, Ontario (January 25 – 29, 2023)

Between January 25 to 29, 2023, Men’s and Women’s curling teams from all over Northern Ontario competed at the NOCA playdowns at the Kenora Recreation Centre.
The winner of the Men’s – the Tanner Horgan Rink, goes on to compete in the 2023 Tim Horton’s Brier, Canada’s National Men’s Curling Championship at the Budweiser gardens in Windsor, Ontario.
The winner of the Women’s – the Krista McCarville Rink, will represent Northern Ontario at the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada’s National Women’s Curling Championship, at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia.
Kenora Scottish band was proud to be a part of this event. Piper Amanda Todoschuk piped in the players at the opening ceremonies on January 25th with 17 teams paraded in. Piper Lori Hoppe piped in the finalists of both the Men’s and Women’s teams on the final day of competition, Sunday, January 29th.
