Beaver Brae Secondary School Graduation – Kenora, Ontario – June 23, 2025

On Monday evening – June 23, 2025, the Beaver Brae Graduation Ceremony took place on the Kenora Harbourfront at the Whitecap Pavilion. The band marched the graduates, the teachers and faculty down Bernier Drive to the Pavilion playing the 4/4 standard Scotland the Brave, Rowan Tree and Wings. After a brief pause, the band then led the teachers and faculty through the Pavillion to the stage playing the standard 2/4 High Road to Gairloch and Mairi’s Wedding. The graduates then proceeded to the stage to the notes of “Pomp and Circumstances”. Thanks to all of the band members who attended – this is one of the highlights of our performance year. Kudos to our new drummers, Melanie, Wyatt and Steve – great job keeping the beat. Thankfully the rain held off.
