Wes Sheppard graciously agreed to come down from Winnipeg to help tune the band and to fill out the ranks of the pipe section. As we have done for several years now the band’s first performance was at King George School for their Remembrance Day assembly. After the march-out the band next played for the ceremonies at Beaver Brae Secondary School. The Beaver Brae ceremony was attended by two representatives from each classroom and was broadcast over the school’s internal closed-circuit system for the rest of the school.
