Queen Elizabeth II Funeral – Kenora Legion Ceremony (September 19, 2022):

On 8 September 2022, at 15:10 BST, Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms, and the longest-reigning British monarch, died of old age at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, at the age of 96.

On September 19, 2022, the Kenora Legion held a Memorial service at the cenotaph in Kenora (Museum Park) in memory of Queen Elizabeth II. Pipe-Sergeant Cecil Burns piped the Legion Colour Party in and one of our tenor drummers – Pastor Cathy Giroux led the prayers.
