Canada Day – July 1, 2021

As Canada Day was different than usual this year due to the ongoing CoVid-19 pandemic, one of the Kenora Scottish Pipes & Drums pipers, Amanda Todoschuk, took it upon herself to do something different as well.
For reflection, she went to the Lake of the Woods Cemetery here in Kenora to give our fallen soldiers a Canada Day parade in honour of their sacrifices for our country. Amanda played three sets of tunes followed by “Amazing Grace”. Amanda’s children, Mason & Natalie attended as well and Natalie took the photos.
