Jayson Morrison Memorial Cystic Fibrosis Walk – May 28, 2017

Since the inception of the Annual “Jayson Morrison Memorial Cystic Fibrosis Walk” held at Anicinabe Park, Kenora, Ontario, the Kenora Scottish Pipes & Drums Band have been privileged to be a part of this worthwhile community event. This event is held annually to help raise funds to combat Cystic Fibrosis and it commemorates a young Kenora man, Jayson Morrison, who died of this disease. The Band played a short concert set at the beginning of the ceremony, followed by a rendition of “Amazing Grace” for all the assembled dignitaries, runners and walkers. The Band then lead off the parade to the lively 2/4 march set of “High Road to Gairloch” and “Mharies Wedding”.
