Piping Demonstration, Keewatin Public School – February 26, 2018

On February 26, 2018, the Band was asked to provide a piper for a demonstration at Keewatin Public School, Keewatin, Ontario. Pipe Sergeant Cecil Burns spoke to Ms Lindsey Derouard’s Grade 1/2 Music Class and demonstrated the bagpipes and played several tunes. This was followed by several of the children wanting to try and see if they could play the chanter with a variety of results.
